Send it to the client for approval

The client approves through a link, without learning the app: they see the pieces, approve or ask for changes on each file, and talk to the team. They never see the script, the internal comments or the team.

First: the client as a Reviewer

The link only opens for the team's Reviewers. Invite the client with that role — see Invite your team. Reviewers cost nothing.

Send it

  1. On a post with files, click Ask for approval, at the bottom of the post or in the right-click menu. To send several at once, use Send for approval in the left bar.
  2. Send the link with Send on WhatsApp or Copy link.

The link lasts 30 days; to switch it off sooner, use Cancel link. Admins and strategists send things for approval.

What the client does

  1. Opens the link and signs in with Google, or with their email under Get a sign-in link.
  2. On each file, chooses Approve or Ask for changes. On a video, the change carries the second they paused at.
  3. Writes to the team and replies to comments.

The decision shows on the post right away, with the Client tag.

Automatic reminder

If a file is left waiting for the client's answer, Tucan e-mails the team's reviewers once per delivery. Each team picks the delay: in Settings → Team → Approval reminder, choose 12 h, 1, 2 or 3 days, or Never. It starts at 1 day.

Your agency's brand

In Settings → Brand → Your agency, for the client, add your agency's name and logo. They show on the page the client opens, as Sent by, beside the client's brand. A new team made from this one starts with them.

Monthly report

On Home, Monthly report shows what went out that month, how much was approved first time, the time to approve and what went out late. Copy summary copies it all as text, to paste in WhatsApp or an e-mail to the client.
