Connect Tucan to Claude and ask for your content calendar in plain language: “what goes out this week?”, “create a Reel for Tuesday at 10 about yellowed headlights”, “which files are still waiting for approval?”.
Claude acts only when you ask, and only as you: it reaches exactly what your Tucan account reaches in the app, with your role in each workspace, and nothing more.
Before you connect
- A Tucan account — sign up at app.usetucan.com.
- Membership of at least one workspace — on its trial, the free plan or a paid plan. A workspace whose subscription has lapsed is listed, but its posts cannot be read through the connector.
Connect
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste:
https://api.usetucan.com/mcp
A sign-in page opens. Sign in with the same account you use in Tucan. With a different Google account the connector answers that it is not connected to a Tucan account — it simply does not know who you are. You do this once; the connection stays.
In Claude Code:
claude mcp add -s user -t http tucan https://api.usetucan.com/mcp
Then type /mcp, choose tucan and authenticate.
What it can do
What it may change is what your role allows in each workspace, exactly as in the app: admins, strategists and producers plan and change posts and ideas; reviewers comment; readers only read. A write your role does not allow is refused, and the answer says why.
| Tool | What it does | Kind |
|---|---|---|
list_teams | Lists your workspaces | Read |
list_posts | What is on the calendar in a date range | Read |
get_post | Opens one post: script, caption, files and their review | Read |
search_posts | Searches posts by their words | Read |
list_pending_reviews | Files still waiting on a decision | Read |
get_workspace_options | A workspace's formats, states, people and brand | Read |
list_ideas | Lists the ideas board | Read |
get_idea | Opens one idea | Read |
create_post | Creates a post or a task on a day | Write |
update_post | Changes a post or a task | Write |
move_post | Moves a post to another day or hour | Write |
add_comment | Comments on a post, in your name | Write |
create_idea | Writes an idea down on the board | Write |
update_idea | Changes an idea | Write |
convert_idea | Turns an idea into a post on the calendar | Write |
Nothing is deleted through the connector, and nothing is published to a social network: it plans the calendar, it does not post.
Things to ask
- “What do I have this week in the Clínica Vega workspace?”
- “Write a script for Thursday's Reel and put it on the post.”
- “Which files are waiting for approval, and since when?”
- “Move Friday's carousel to Monday at 9.”
- “Turn the idea about before-and-after photos into a post for next Wednesday.”
Your data
The connector reads and writes your workspaces on your behalf and keeps no copy of your conversations. Every change it makes is recorded in the workspace's history as made by you through an assistant. How Tucan handles personal data is in the Privacy Policy (Português, Español).
Disconnect
Remove Tucan in Claude's Settings → Connectors. The connection stops working at once; nothing in your workspaces changes.
