Terms of use
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This is a translation, for reading. The Portuguese text is the one that binds: the company is Brazilian and the law that applies is Brazilian law.
These terms are the agreement between you and CAIO MARCOS ALVES DE MOURA CONSULTORIA EM TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, CNPJ 42.399.277/0001-89, at Rua Walenty Golas, 371, Campo Comprido, Curitiba, PR, CEP 81200-520, about your use of Tucan. By signing in, you agree to them. To discuss anything here: privacy@usetucan.com.
What Tucan is
A tool for planning content as a team: a calendar of posts, with scripts, files, review and a record of who did what. It is software as a service, reached through a browser.
We do not publish anything to social networks for you. Tucan plans; publishing stays yours.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You answer for what happens in it — if somebody else has your Google, they have your Tucan.
An account belongs to one person. A team is made by inviting people, not by sharing a password.
Workspaces and roles
What each person may do in a workspace depends on the role they were given there: admin, strategist, producer, reviewer or reader. Whoever administers the workspace hands out the roles, and the server enforces them — it is not an interface suggestion.
The content is yours. The posts, texts and files you put into Tucan remain yours. You give us only the licence needed to store, display and process that content in order to provide the service — nothing beyond that, and it ends when the content is deleted.
You answer for what you upload. Do not use Tucan for unlawful content, to infringe anyone's copyright, or to invade anyone's privacy.
Plans and payment
Each workspace has a plan. A workspace without a paid plan can be read — the calendar stays visible — but takes no changes: no planning, editing, commenting or changing settings. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.
Prices, payment methods and renewal terms are those stated at the time of purchase. Price changes apply from the following cycle and are announced in advance.
You may cancel whenever you like; the service runs to the end of the period already paid for.
Connected assistants
You may connect an AI assistant to your calendar. It acts as you and within your access. What it does is yours — including what it gets wrong. Review before publishing; Tucan does not answer for text produced by an assistant.
Availability
We do what we can to keep the service up, but we do not promise freedom from interruption. We may carry out maintenance, and we give notice when it can be foreseen.
The app is in alpha: features change, and some may go. We give notice before removing something you are using.
Limits of liability
Nothing here removes the rights Brazil's Consumer Defence Code gives you, where it applies.
Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: we do not answer for lost profits, lost opportunity or indirect damage, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the event.
Ending
By you, at any time, by deleting your account in Account → "Delete your account". The effect is described in the privacy policy.
By us, if these terms are seriously broken — unlawful content, attempts to get around the access controls, use that harms other people. We give notice and a chance to put it right, except where the seriousness does not allow it.
Changes to these terms
If they change in any relevant way, we will say so in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use it afterwards is agreeing to the new version.
Law and jurisdiction
Brazilian law applies. The forum is the consumer's domicile where that applies; otherwise, the forum of CAIO MARCOS ALVES DE MOURA CONSULTORIA EM TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA's registered office.
