Plans and storage

The beta, the plans after it, each team's space and how to free it.

The beta

While Tucan is in beta, it is free and asks for no card. Each account creates up to 5 teams (one per client, for instance), with no limit on people, posts or ideas.

After the beta

  • Team: R$ 39 per team per month, or R$ 29 a month on the yearly plan. From the 5th team, each costs 20% less, and all of them come on one invoice.
  • 14 days free on the first team of every account, with no card and up to 10 GB. The other teams are paid from day one.
  • At the end of the trial, if no plan was chosen, the team becomes read-only: you can see everything but not edit. Nothing is deleted.
  • Pro (coming soon): R$ 59 per team per month, with automatic publishing to Instagram and TikTok, a monthly report for your client, the client page with your agency's brand and 100 GB.

We tell you before we start charging, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan. How the team stands is in Settings → Plan.

Space

Each team keeps up to 40 GB of files at a time. It is not per month: what comes in keeps taking space until somebody deletes it. At the limit, what is already stored stays, and new uploads stop until space is freed. After the beta, the +100 GB pack is R$ 19 a month.

Free space

Settings → Storage shows every file of the team: its name, its size, the post and version it is in, who sent it and when. The biggest come first, and the filters split videos, photos, what is in the trash and what is unused.

  1. Tick the files you no longer need.
  2. Click Delete and confirm with Delete for good.
  • Admins and strategists delete any file; other members, the ones they sent themselves.
  • Logos and fonts are changed in Settings → Brand; references, in the post or the idea itself.
  • Files of deleted posts count until they leave the trash; Delete for good, under See deleted posts, frees that space.
  • Unused files (from a deleted idea, an upload that never finished) are marked as unused in Settings → Storage and stay there until somebody deletes them. Nothing leaves for good unless somebody asks.

Automatic cleanup

In Settings → Storage, an admin turns the team's automatic cleanup on or off. It starts off. When on, it sends old versions of a file to the file trash, 30 days after a new version arrives. Unused files don't depend on it: they stay marked as unused until somebody deletes them.

In the trash, old versions wait 30 days and still count against the limit. Until then, an old version can be brought back with Restore, into its post. After that, it leaves for good. Approved files never leave on their own.

Who deleted it

When a post's file is deleted, by someone or by the automatic cleanup, the post keeps who deleted it, when and from where. Whoever looks for the file afterwards, the client on the approval link included, sees File deleted, with that note in its place.
