Install the app on your phone
Tucan runs in the browser and installs like an app, without a store: it gets an icon on your home screen, opens full screen and can send notifications.
On an iPhone
- Open app.usetucan.com in Safari.
- Tap Share (the square with the arrow pointing up; on newer iPhones it is in the menu, the three lines beside the address), then Add to Home Screen — under View More if it is not showing — and Add.
- Open Tucan from the new icon.
On Android
- Open app.usetucan.com in Chrome.
- Tap the menu (the three dots), then Install app or Add to Home screen.
On a computer
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the end of the address bar.
Notifications
- On a phone, tap Settings, then Notifications. On a computer, open Your account and go to On your phone.
- Tap Receive on this device and allow it when the browser asks.
- Choose what you want to hear about.
On an iPhone, notifications only work with the app on the home screen (iOS 16.4 or newer), not in a Safari tab.
